PVDocs (pvdocs.ie) provides software for Irish solar PV installers to prepare SEAI Domestic Solar PV grant documentation — Declaration of Works, Inspection Testing & Commissioning certificates, shared homeowner documents, and handover packs. These terms are a contract between PVDOCS LIMITED, an Irish private company limited by shares (company no. 821391) — "PVDocs", "we" — and the installer company that registers an account ("you").
You are responsible for the accuracy of all project details entered and for reviewing every generated document before signing or submitting it to SEAI. PVDocs produces paperwork from the data you provide; it does not certify electrical work and does not replace your obligations as a Safe Electric registered contractor or as an SEAI registered company. You confirm you have the right to enter your customers' personal data into the service and that you act as data controller for it (see our Privacy Policy).
Keep your credentials confidential and tell us about any suspected unauthorised access. You may not: share one account across companies; attempt to access another company's data; probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service without written permission; reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the service or its generated templates to build a competing product; or use the service for anything unlawful.
Paid plans are billed by subscription through Stripe. Plan limits (e.g. projects per month) are shown at checkout. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period; fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice before your next billing period.
You own the data you enter and the documents generated from it. You can export your documents at any time and can delete projects (which permanently removes their data). On account closure we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We process homeowner personal data only on your instructions, as set out there.
The PVDocs software, design, and content are owned by PVDOCS LIMITED and protected by copyright. Generated documents based on your data are yours. SEAI form layouts remain the property of their respective owners; PVDocs fills them on your behalf.
The service is provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by Irish law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including grant applications rejected due to inaccurate data you entered. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Irish law.
We may update these terms with reasonable notice (email or in-app); continued use after the effective date is acceptance. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
